Société Interludio is a contemporary art gallery founded in Turin in 2018 by curator Stefania Margiacchi and artist Paul de Flers. Since 2020, the gallery has been directed by Stefania Margiacchi.
Since its inception, Société Interludio has focused on emerging and mid-career artistic practices, developing a programme that combines exhibitions, site-specific commissions, and long-term collaborations with artists.
Research and dialogue constitute the foundation of the gallery’s activity, fostering experimental projects and creating contexts for exchange between artists, curators, and cultural practitioners.
Originally conceived within a private apartment in Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the gallery has evolved from an independent project space into a contemporary art gallery, while maintaining a strong curatorial approach and a commitment to supporting artistic practices at different stages of development.
In May 2023, Société Interludio opened a second venue in Cambiano, on the outskirts of Turin, within a former early twentieth-century sawmill converted into an exhibition space. Since 2024, this location has become the gallery’s main venue.
Société Interludio works with Italian and international artists, building connections across different contexts and disciplines while pursuing ongoing research into contemporary artistic practices.
